Investigation ordered into local baby deaths

“A cluster of baby deaths at the same NHS trust will be investigated, Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has said.

BBC News has learned of at least seven deaths later deemed as avoidable in less than two years at the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust.”

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust delivers about 4,700 babies each year.

    I was lucky to have my son survive in 2013 at same hospital ,but because of lack of attention as to where my baby’s heart beat was positionedthey failed to detect breech position so once in established labour they realized he was wrong way round and very distressed he got stuck and had forceps delivery but didn’t breath for 8 minutes unassisted , very scary time we did make complaint about our treatment but it was brushed over by midwives who story was very different to facts

    About time this has been going on for years and years and let’s count all the damaged baby’s born here who should never have been damaged !!!!
