Correct, , speed bumps, the huge number of small roundabouts, stop starting due to ridiculous number of traffic lights poorly maintained roads all cause issues with cars suspension, bakes, emissions etc etc I know as I’m in the trade.

The amount of breakdowns on the EP are a joke. At least one car a week is left chilling on the side for a few days.

Usually found dumped at the side of the EP as owners cant afford breakdown cover

However, i would say blame the roads BUT, my truck was bought with 3 others, i do Telford everyday and was the last of the 4 to need new tyres, and it aint through driving styles! You actually have some of the better roads amongst the surrounding counties

Over excessive braking due to roundabouts, speed humps. Excessive speed humps and pot holes ruining suspension. This report says more about the state of Telford roads and the upkeep of them as opposed to the cars themselves.

I would have thought negotiating all the Telford roundabouts must affect the cars in some way!

I would say this could have something to do with higher % of people on lower than average incomes in the area which means that cannot afford new(er) cars.

bloody speed humps, they just wreck suspension. And they don’t slow the traffic down by much, drivers just accelerate between them and cause pollution.
