Cllr hits out at A&E Plan for Telford Children

Still reeling from the decision by health bosses to close overnight A&E at the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford, Cllr Lee Carter claimed the plan for dealing with children was going ‘Back to the 80s’.

BBC Reporter Joanne Gallacher revealed that under the new arrangements children from Telford would be transported to Wolverhampton by ambulance.

The Telford A&E is expected to close overnight from the end of October, leaving the town with no emergency care centre.

I dont want to hear from any council related person or MP none of them have done enough, havent heard a bloody peep from them in ages and havent exactly been in the public eye fighting tooth and nail to save prh a&e , but no, now they will crawl from under their rocks, saying how bad it is and it shouldnt be happening…and the reason they will do this is in the hope some people will be daft enough to think…oh they think the same of us, lets give them our vote in the next election, only one former mp has spoke the truth about our a&e from the start and that was David wright…but i remember at the time both Lucy Allen and Mark pritchard stating it wasnt true, our a&e wasnt under threat and David was trying to use scare tactics to gain votes!!

Well considering the new bridge costing 10mil was public funded (which sorry!! I didn’t say I want to contribute to it!!) That money should’ve been used to employ more doctors and nurses in order to save the a&e. The top chief big wigs who are nice and cosy with their big fat pay cheques have a lot to answer for- dick heads!!!
