Parking setback for Morrisons Car Park Operator

Parking setback for Morrisons Car Park Operator

Euro Car Parks, owner of the car park by the Lawley branch of Morrisons applied to Telford & Wrekin Council to erect a mast for an ANPR Camera.

The automatic number plate recognition system would record cars entering and exiting the car park. This would enable  enforcement of parking limits on shoppers and others using the car park.

At the planning meeting this evening, the planning application to erect the mast was rejected by councillors.

Isn’t it the main car park for Lawley? Like the vets, Chippy etc as well as Morrison’s?

I’m fairly certain you have this wrong. I don’t believe Morrison’s applied to erect the mast!!? They were against it!!!

Morrisons were against the parking plans – the company who own the carpark (I believe it’s called Santander (but NOT the bank) applied for planning permission
