Bank holiday special news this week. In the tradition of great British bank holiday weekends, we had some thunder yesterday! Unfortunately AFC Telford missed out on promotion back into the Conference yesterday, but lets not forget that 4 years ago, the club was bankrupt and kicked out of the system completely until the fans took over and started afresh in Unibond Div 1. The players, team, management and the fans all deserve credit for such an achievement.Telfords Best Pub.Nominations close at the end of the month to find the best pub in Telford. They will get a nice certificate and lots of mentions on the forum. The idea is that we gather some nominations from members, and then it will go to a vote. Any pub in Telford can enter (yes, including Ironbridge!). Nominate by the end of May, voting will be complete by the end of June.
