Town Centre Car Parks

Today I had to pop up town so I parked on Asda car-park & was there approx 20 minutes upon leaving I put my ticket into the machine & pay the 50p charge for parking but I get delayed in leaving the car-park & arrive at the barrier some 15 minutes after I had paid for the ticket. Putting the ticket into the machine at the barrier it says I owed a further 50p? I have no more money with me as ive forgotten to bring mt wallet!I call the man in the office & explain to him that I had paid 50p already & was just delayed leaving the car park to which he states that once you pay for your ticket you have 10 minutes to leave the car park & that I had to pay the additional 50p charge & he would NOT raise the barrier, the line goes dead. I call him back & inform him I have no more money & as I have already paid the charge could he just raise the barrier as im at the head of an ever growing queue with people getting angry to which he informs me I can use notes or credit cards & once again I tell him I have no means of payment with me just the 50p I kept in the ashtay of the car that I had already used to pay for the ticket as I had rushed out of the house forgetting my wallet, he once again states that he would NOT raise the barrier & I would have to sit there until I could find means of payment & the line goes dead again. What do I do?I try the bloke again & he is just so damn adamant that he will NOT raise the barrier & I can just sit there until hell freezes over & all for the sake of 50p, so I get out of the car & have to go rather embarrassingly cap in hand to the person in the car behind & after I explain the situation he gives me 50p, thank god. I am eternally greatful to the plesant man who sat patiently behind me for 10minutes & who showed that there are still some decent people in this world, unlike the anally retentive Town Centre Attendant.
