Has anyone else noticed how fabulous the hawthorn is looking this year? The woods are bursting at the seams with it and looking at some of the hedges from the train reminds me of a firework display.A good year for bluebells and wild garlic as well.And remember, cast n'er a clout 'til may be out refers to the flower of the hawthorn not the month so it must be time for a mass shedding of undergarments too!
