Seven Hospice Shropshire Colour Run
June 12, 2016 @ 10:30 am - 5:00 pm
The Seven Hospice Shropshire Colour Run is open to people of all ages, and all abilities, who want to have fun whilst raising funds to support our vital work across Shropshire and Mid Wales.
Elodie Home, Fundraising Events Manager at Severn Hospice, said: “We are absolutely delighted to announce a brand new event for 2016. Several of our supporters have asked if we can organise an event like this, as it’s a bit different to anything we’ve done before. The fact we have had so many people sign up for the Shropshire Colour Run in the first few days of registration opening is really fantastic; people are really looking forward to this event.
“We want the Shropshire Colour Run to be about having fun with your family and friends; it’s not about how quickly you can complete the course, we want everyone to really enjoy themselves. The event is open to people of all abilities; you can run, walk or even hop your way round. It’s all about having fun while raising money for an excellent local charity. The money raised will enable Severn Hospice to continue providing care to local people living with incurable illnesses.”
Each person taking part in our Shropshire Colour Run will be given a white t-shirt to wear on the day and as they make their way round the course, marshals will be placed at points along the route to shower the participants with as much colour as possible.

Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The powdered paint used during the Shropshire Colour Run is coloured corn flour which conforms with EU regulations.
Please note that since this was added to the calendar stuff may have changed. It’s not my fault, it just happens sometimes.
