Yoga for Wellbeing – Free 5-week Course

New FREE 5-week course to support good health & wellbeing.
Starts Thursday 23rd June and runs every Thursday till 21st July, time 6.30-8.30pm. The course will take place at Dawley House (Dawley House, 22 Burton Street, Dawley, TF4 2ES).

Yoga for wellbeing is friendly and non-competitive. The focus of the course is to improve your own physical, mental and spiritual well-being. This course will teach you techniques and tips to use in your everyday life to help you to relax and deal with stress and anxiety.
You will focus on conscious breathing exercises and postures that will help to improve lung capacity, flexibility and nervous / immune system function. You will learn about simple nutritional options that support the nervous system and find out more about what causes stress and how to manage it.
The course is suitable for all ages and abilities and postures and activities can be adapted to meet the needs of the individual. Beginners are very welcome. If you do have you’re own yoga mat, then please bring it along with you, but don’t worry if not.
