Patisserie Valerie opens in Telford

Dominated by Costa Coffee, shoppers in Telford now have another option for tea & coffee in the form of Patisserie Valerie. Situated within the Debenhams department store, the new cafe & cake emporium is the latest in the chain of 180 outlets to open.

Specialising in rich cakes and afternoon teas, Patisserie Valerie started in 1926 in Soho and is the latest food outlet to open at Telford Shopping Centre.

All food products made in-house at seven bakeries and delivered fresh each day. The holding company also owns Druckers which has a large cafe in the shopping centre.

Which is the best cafe in the centre?

Yeh £2.95 for a cake but to eat in £3,95. £1 extra on top of a coffee, no thanks
