What’s it like being a BloodBiker?

Dr Roy Broad, no, not that kind of Doctor, gives an insight into volunteering for the organisation which performs a vital service for the NHS.

“I joined the blood bikes charity at its launch in January 2014 because it looked like good fun and the way to help the NHS. We now have over 200 volunteer riders, controllers and fundraisers delivering urgently needed blood and medical items between hospitals across Shropshire and Staffordshire.”

Hats off to these amazing volunteers.
