Drunk driver rams cop car

A Police Officer was taken to hospital in the early hours of this morning following an incident with drunk driver.

The driver failed to see a marked police car which was waiting to turn right & drove straight into the back of it at speed.

The driver recorded 90 in a roadside breath test, the current drink drive limit in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland is 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 milliliters of breath.

The officer was discharged from hospital a few hours later, with the usual injuries associated with this type of collision.

    No excuse for drink/drug driving.

Luckily no one was seriously injured.

Ban for life on driving for all drink/drug drivers.
