Another name disappears from our Telford streets.

Another name disappears from our Telford streets.

Office Outlet, or you may have remembered it as Staples has closed its Rampart Way branch near Telford Shopping Centre.

US-based stationery giant Staples agreed to sell its UK shops to Hilco Capital, the former owner of HMV, in late 2016 for a nominal fee. The deal included taking on the £60m of debt.

At Telford, half the store was recently converted into a Gym, which is still open.

Why not put another COSTA there so all the high council leaders can get a back hander. INSTEAD of supporting local businesses!

I went the other day to get ink for the printers and they had gone! Real shame….we did use them quite a lot, all our Vintage posters were done there too. Miss them already:0(

I’m not surprised I went in while the clearance sale was on and it was still twice as expensive as shops like wilko and supermarkets.
