Telford voted overwhelmingly (63%) to Leave the EU but has been identified as the city (what?) most at risk from leaving the EU as 70% of our exports are headed there.

Some interesting numbers in the analysis – we come top in one category, people who travel to work by private vehicle and correspondingly bottom in those who travel by public transport – there’s a challenge for someone.
These kinds of pop economics studies are always a bit dubious. Like the ones that say “every household in the UK will be x pounds better/worse off if y happens”. Economics isn’t a precise science.

We’re not in a political union with the rest of the world and sell to them, why would it be a problem? The Times is, of course, a Remainer newspaper and the Centre for Cities is a left wing, pro-EU organisation
