Former Telford Man second favourite to win MP seat in Wales for the Brexit Party
Des Parkinson is standing in the Brecon & Radnorshire by-election to win a seat in the Houses of Parliament.
An ex Chief Super in the Dyfed Powys Police, Mr Parkinson used to work for Telford & Wrekin Council until he was suspended back in 2006. At the time, the council said “Telford & Wrekin Council can confirm that no further action will be taken in relation to Des Parkinson, Telford & Wrekin Council’s principal licensing officer, who was suspended while an internal inquiry took place in relation to certain aspects of the council’s licensing service.”
The former Conservative Party and UKIP member lived on Priorslee, and left the Council about the time of the suspension.
Mr Parkinson also sought election to become the Police and Crime Commissioner for West Mercia in 2012, and Dyfed Powys in 2016.
