Your last chance to visit Shropshire Lavender fields.
The owners of Shropshire Lavender have announced it’s their last season. At the end of August Robin & Joanna will hang up their secateurs for the last time.
“It is our dear wish that someone may come and continue our little lavender farm… but who knows”
They have operated the farm from 2006, opening the fields and tea shop to visitors Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays:12pm-5pm
You can go for a wander around the Lavender field and wild gardens.
They will be closing at the end of the season on Bank Holiday Monday, August 2019 at 5pm
Visitors can relax amongst the rows of lavender, photograph the butterflies and bees that flourish on the lavender flowers, or visit our lavender gardens in the orchard, which contain over 40 different varieties of lavender that flower at different times during the summer.
They also have a large wild garden that is a haven for lots of wildlife. Many birds, including colourful chaffinches, bullfinches, blue tits, wrens as well as a beautiful green woodpecker nest in the garden and children love to see the newts that live in the ponds during the summer months.
The farm is open every Friday to Sunday until the end of August.
