Hickorys Smokehouse off the menu for Telford

Hickorys Smokehouse off the menu for Telford

Despite obtaining planning permission for a brand new restaurant at The Rock in Telford last year, the BBQ pub brand will now not be opening here.

In a Telford Live exclusive, the brand owners revealed that the site owner sold the land to a supermarket instead.

In a bitter twist, we can also reveal that an alternative site has been secured in Shrewsbury.

A spokesman for Hickorys told Telford Live “We were naturally disappointed but we’re thrilled to be opening in Shrewsbury in the near future.”
