Bank Holiday Announced for Queens Funeral
Monday 19th of September has been designated a Bank Holiday. The Bank Holiday will mark the last day of national mourning.
The Bank Holiday will work the same as other Bank Holidays, there is no statutory entitlement to time off for bank holidays, but employers may include bank holidays as part of a worker’s leave entitlement.
Schools are expected to close for the day.
