Car fire causes delays on M54

There were long tailbacks on the M54 following a car fire on Friday afternoon.

A Jaguar car caught fire right next to junction 6, Wrekin Retail Park shortly after 4:30pm. Three appliances attended as traffic backed up towards the previous junction.

According to one comment, the family travelling in the car were returning from a trip to Alton Towers.
