The Bucks win promotion in 6 goal thriller

AFC Telford Utd came back from behind twice to beat hopefuls Kettering Town in the play off finals at Latimer Park this afternoon.

The Bucks went into half time one goal goal down after Nile Ranger took his chance to put Kettering Town ahead.

It took just five minutes for Telford to bring in back level with an Orrin Pendley goal, but Kettering struck straight back with a Wes York goal.

The 69th minute saw Jordan Piggott put the visitors level, taking advantage of a disorganised Kettering defence.

The Bucks found their stride and got the measure of Kettering, and in the 80th minute,  Jid Fridye-Harper ran to the goal and just slotted it away.

A goal ahead, it took another 10 minutes for The Bucks to put the game beyond the home side.  Rhys Hilton putting the game beyond doubt.

The game ended 4-2 to The Bucks as the players look towards next season in the National League North.
