Iconic Telford Town Park landmark out of action 

The Spiders Web, a rite of passage for many of us growing up in Telford is currently off limits.

Officials took to Facebook to make the announcement on Friday, stating the reason for making the climbing frame off limits.

“The spiders web and bark area of the playground is currently close due to a wasps nest having to be moved.

“We expect the play area should be closed for 2 – 3 days, thanks for your patience we will let everyone know when it reopens.”

Wasps, and being at the top of the rope structure is a lethal combination!
