Power restored to 10k homes in Telford.

Over 10,000 homes in Telford were without electricity last night in a high voltage fault which also affected mobile phone infrastructure.

The first reports came in just before 11am.

Power was completely restored to all properties affected by 12:36am this morning.

It is unlikely to have been caused by all the nans putting the kettle on after watching Rod at Glasto.

The outage affected properties from Dawley to Coalbrookdale.
