Telford Full Monty Live seeks hilarious act for charity extravaganza

Telford Full Monty Live, the sensational charity event that has already raised nearly £6,000 in two years, is back for its third spectacular show, and they’re on the hunt for a brilliant comedy or comedy musical act to complete their line-up.

This year, the team is passionately supporting two vital charities: Samaritans and Papyrus, both dedicated to the prevention of young suicide. These causes are incredibly close to the hearts of many involved in the production, making this year’s fundraising efforts even more meaningful.

Originally conceived as a one-off event to promote men’s body positivity, the Telford Full Monty was brought to life by Jay Gough, also known as Telford Batman, who is renowned for his extensive charity work. Thanks to the incredible success and the significant funds raised, the team decided to make it an annual tradition.

After two successful years at Casey’s in Donnington, who generously provided their venue for free, Telford Full Monty Live is moving to a new, exciting location: La Luna/757 Nightclub (formerly Pussycats).

The show promises a full night of entertainment for over-18s, featuring a grand prize raffle and cash games, all for an entry fee of just £10 per person. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased via the Telford Full Monty Live Facebook page.

The dedicated team behind the event includes six courageous men, the talented choreographer and event planner Jacey Richards, and her mother, Wendi Richards, who not only hosts the show but also creates all the fabulous uniforms.

Unfortunately, the team has hit a snag this year. One of their beloved acts has had to withdraw due to a much-needed operation, and won’t be recovered in time for the big night. This leaves a fantastic opportunity for a local talent to step into the spotlight.
