A scooter, often being ridden three-up, causing a significant nuisance in Wellington has been successfully located and seized by local officers, thanks to vigilant members of the public.

Police confirmed the action followed multiple reports from the community regarding the vehicle’s irresponsible use.

The force highlighted the crucial role of public support, stating that their success relied heavily on the “eyes and ears” of those living and working in the area.

They reiterated that the irresponsible and illegal use of motorbikes and e-scooters in public places poses a considerable danger and disruption to residents.

Telford police have vowed to continue their efforts to keep the streets safe and peaceful for everyone, urging the public to report any inappropriate use of off-road bikes or e-scooters via 101.
