Telford firefighter hits the ton
100 miles not out – Emily-Jane has just another 530 miles to go on her epic trek, raising money for charity.
Emily-Jane is keeping everyone updated via her Insta account:
I’ve officially survived my first 7 days on the South West Coast Path – 113.93 miles walked, 19,018 ft climbed, and some unforgettable moments already. From seals and deer to steep cliffs and cobbled harbours, this trail is pure magic (and pain 😅).
💛 Route so far: Minehead ➡️ Windbury Point
📏 Miles covered: 113.93
⛰ Elevation gained: 19,018 ft
💰 Raised so far: £1,650! 🙌
Highlights: meeting amazing people, seeing wild animals, falling in love with Clovelly, and duct-taping my broken gear together like a champ.
Lowlights: ticks, horseflies, blisters… and did I mention ticks?
Thank you for all the donations and support so far – you’re fuelling every step 💛
Here’s to week 2!
