Active fire fighting at the Wrekin

Shropshire Fire and Rescue are still working on damping down the fire at The Wrekin this morning.

The site is on the north side of the Wrekin and it was called in just before 9:30pm last night.

Crews from Oswestry and Shrewsbury are here, as well as more local firefighters.

Telford & Wrekin Council has requested that people avoid the area to allow access for the equipment.

All the roads are open, but car parking is very limited due to the appliances using the main car park as a base.
