Fire in farmers field overnight

Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service were called out to a field near Sutton Maddock last night.

Around 30 bales of straw were involved in the fire. Crews used two hose reel jets and drag rakes, alongside a telehandler operated by the farm owner to extinguish the fire.

The call out was closed off just after midnight.
