Nightglow a huge success

If you have seen the Hot Air Balloons in the skies above, Town Park, Hollinswood or Randlay this morning, then you’ll know it’s day two of the Telford Balloon Fiesta.

Last night, thousands of people filled the QEII Arena at Telford Town Park to watch a show which included a fun science show from Jon at the Boardroom Cafe, singers Marisa and Megan and a trapeze artist, all hosted and MC’d by Shuttsie.

Then, as darkness fell, the lights went out and the Balloon Fiesta Nightglow started at 9:30pm. Tethered balloons were inflated and the burners ignited in time to the music.

The event is staged by Telford and Wrekin Council, and while the Nightglow was ticketed, the rest of the event on Saturday and Sunday are free to attend.
