Wool Magic to disappear from New St

Donna has decided to close her retail business after over 10 years at the shop, retiring to attend to family responsibilities.

Selling wool, needles, patterns and accessories started in the market and then seven years ago, she opened her shop in New St, Wellington.

Shoppers will miss the ‘knitivity’ scenes displayed in the window, carefully crafted from wool each Christmas.

Donna is not hanging up her needles for good, “I’ll still keep up the hobby.”

The shop fittings, counters, shelving and of course the stock are all for sale. If you are interested, the shop is open 8:30am to 4pm Tues, Thurs, Friday and Saturdays.

The shop is only open for another week.
