Abbey Manor to hold second Apple Day
Apple Day is returning to Abbey Manor in Buildwas for a second year this September after a successful debut in 2024. The event, which takes place on Sunday, 28th September, will run from 10:30am to 4:00pm.
Organisers said more than 200 people attended last year, and they are now seeking volunteers and more stallholders for this year. Anyone interested can email gemma@abbeymanor.uk.
Want to get involved? Organisers said they still have a couple of stall spaces available for £10 each. The fee helps to run the event and contributes to local community projects.
Visitors to the event can bring their own carrier bag of apples to be pressed by volunteers and receive a small bottle of fresh juice in return. The Millenium Apple Press will be in use on the day.
There will also be stalls, a cider bar, food, and entertainment from The Iron Gilders and The Shropshire Sharpshins.
Tickets are £3 for adults, £2 for seniors, and under 16s go free.
