New kits for Wrekin Juniors Lions

Wrekin Juniors Under-10s Lions are starting their new football season with a fresh look thanks to a new sponsorship from local company VeloxServ. The team, which is part of one of the largest and most established junior football clubs in Telford and Wrekin, will now have new kits and training equipment to help them continue their progress.

VeloxServ, a provider of full-fibre connectivity, server hosting and data centre services, announced the sponsorship for the 2025/26 season. The team is coming off a successful year, having won the Telford Junior Football League Plate last season. The new kit was first shown at a recent community fun day which raised over £500 for the team and the charity Home Start Telford and Wrekin.

Mike Corbett, the team’s manager, said the support from a local company was a huge boost. “Their support will give our players a real boost with new kits and equipment, and it’s fantastic to see a local company investing in grassroots football,” he said. “Last season’s Plate win was a huge highlight for us, and with this kind of backing we can keep building on that success.”

Craig Messer, managing director of VeloxServ, added that the company was proud to support the team. “Grassroots football is such a valuable part of our community, and we’re really proud to support the U10s Lions this season,” he said. “Seeing the passion and commitment of the players, coaches, and families at Wrekin Juniors made it an easy decision for us.”
