New store coming to Telford

Telford Shopping Centre is set to welcome a new retailer, Kenji, which offers a range of East-Asian inspired products.

The company, which is based on a modern Asian culture with a British twist, sells items from plushies and stationery to homeware and snacks.

Kenji has a focus on creating an immersive shopping experience. This is linked to its virtual presence through the “KENJILand” mobile app, which is a key part of its business model.

The company’s vision is to bridge the gap between the real and digital worlds.

The retailer has recently expanded its presence in other UK shopping centres, opening new concept stores in places like the Trafford Centre and Warrington.

These new stores often include unique features like traditional Japanese torii gates and touch-screen displays.

Kenji also supplies products to other UK retailers, including HMV and Clintons, which has helped give the brand a wider presence across the country.

Telford Shopping Centre announced the development on social media yesterday:  “This emerging retailer infuses modern Asian culture with a British twist, allowing customers to socialise, play and shop simultaneously!

“Keep an eye out on our social channels for further updates and opening plans!

“The new store will be located next door to Krispy Kreme and Lloyds Bank.”
