Southwater Bar closes ‘effective immediately’
Owners of a sports bar at Southwater have taken to social media to say that it has suddenly closed it’s doors for good.
Billy the B.U.M.S offered big screen sport, pool and music in the heart of the Town Centre, providing a unique offering amongst the restaurants and cocktail bar in Southwater.
The message on Facebook read “It is with mixed emotions that we share Billy the B.U.M.S will be closing its doors effective immediately.
“We are deeply grateful to all of our loyal customers who have supported us throughout the years—your kindness and patronage have meant the world. To our incredible staff, thank you for your hard work, dedication, and the joy you brought to this place every day.
“Together, we’ve created countless wonderful memories that we will cherish forever.
“From the bottom of our hearts—thank you.

Drinkers looking for a bar in Southwater do have something to look forward to. Earlier this year ‘La Trappe’ was given planning permission to open up round the corner near the Liquor Lab.
