Court Autos is a car repair and sales business that has been owned by three generations of the Alford family since it was founded in 1985.

Emily Alford told Telford Live that four or five vehicles were damaged, with two being written off, including the Vauxhall driven by the motorist.

Staff at the garage had a lucky escape, as they had just finished moving cars around in the part of the garage struck, no more than 10 or 15 minutes before the crash.

“We were worried about the safety of the driver,” she added.

Emily praised the quick response and professionalism of the emergency services.

“Police came to assist with this one, it was very much welcomed. They helped so much, the greatest respect for the work they do.”
