Lucky Lucy takes the biscuits

The new Telford Live Cake Map provides a guide for those hunting for a sweet treat, and to mark its launch, we asked you to comment your favourite type of cake to win a prize.

On offer, was a £20 gift voucher to spend at the cake shed of the winner’s choice.

The lucky winner was a woman with a fitting name: Lucy Baker.

For Lucy, the win was a welcome surprise. She said that being named the winner was “the pick me up that we needed.”

Lucy headed down to Geeky Desserts in Muxton to pick up her haul.

The Cake Map is now live on the Telford Live website, helping local residents find the growing number of independent ‘cake sheds’ operating across Telford.

Users can click on a pin to view a mini-profile of the shed, including photos, opening hours, and dietary options.
