WATCH: Armed police respond to incident
Armed police officers and an ambulance were called to The Clock Tower garage in Donnington earlier this afternoon following a serious incident. Seven police vehicles, including marked armed response units, attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service crew was also present, treating a man at the location. A member of the public reported seeing a bandaged man on the floor receiving attention near the air and water dispenser. There was also reported to be blood on the ground.
Police officers were taking a great interest in a dark grey Ford Kuga, displaying a 74-plate, which had visible damage to its rear quarter.
A recovery vehicle later arrived, and the operator drove the damaged Ford Kuga from its position at the petrol pumps onto the back of the recovery truck.
The nature of the incident remains unclear. West Mercia Police have been contacted for an official statement.
