Could we get Telford represented in The Great British Bake Off?

Time to step up our baking game as the application window for the 17th series of The Great British Bake Off is rapidly closing. The production team is actively seeking a mix of contestants to reflect the range in age, location, gender, and diversity of amateur bakers in Britain, meaning a local resident has a strong chance.

Key Deadlines and Requirements

The deadline for applications is 1pm on Monday 15th December 2025. Audition spaces are limited, and potential bakers are advised not to leave the application until the last moment.

Applicants need to demonstrate a real passion for baking. The selection process will consider skill, enthusiasm, drive, and love of baking.

• Applicants must include a range of at least five photographs of different bakes to showcase their baking range.
• The required photographs must include: bread, two types of pastry, cake, and biscuits.
• A recent photograph of the applicant is also mandatory.

Initial selection is based on the application form and subsequent telephone interviews.
