Pizza grill welcomes new space
A popular takeaway has welcomed its move to a new, permanent unit in Oakengates as part of the ongoing transformation of the town centre.
Ephesus Pizza & Grill, which was previously located on Limes Walk, has relocated to 43 Market Street as regeneration continues. The move was supported by Telford & Wrekin Council as part of the Theatre Quarter investment project.
Owner Faruk Yuksel is pleased with the new unit and is hoping to grow his business now it is in a permanent home. The new space is more spacious and features a larger kitchen, a wider shop frontage, and improved visibility on Market Street.
Ephesus employs four staff and serves up a range of dishes including pizzas, kebabs, and a variety of value meals.
Faruk said: “I’m really grateful to Telford & Wrekin Council for its support with the move. I’m so pleased with my new unit which is much more spacious and visible on Market Street.
“Already, we’re seeing more footfall than our previous unit, attracting more customers and passers-by due to the new location.
“We’re hoping that many more people will come and see what we have to offer in our new takeaway.
“We really needed the extra space so this new unit is much better for us and it gives me the opportunity to grow the business further now.”
The Theatre Quarter programme in Oakengates has seen the transformation of a 1960s shopping precinct into modern retail units with residential apartments above.
