Skip truck almost crashes into house

Holyhead Road, Ketley in Telford was the scene of a crash this lunchtime which involved a skip truck hitting a scaffolding lorry and then coming to a stop just before hitting a house.

In these dramatic photos taken by Telford Live contributor Tom Hill, you can see where the truck left the road, collided with a scaffolding truck. It then passed over a footpath and front garden before stopping short of the house wall.

Police are on the scene, but an eye witness who spoke to the passenger told Telford Live that the driver appeared to have a medical episode at the wheel, but both passenger and driver do not appear to have suffered any injuries.
