Sam Tait, a Telford native, is in London where he will be on duty at the Cenotaph on Sunday and at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday.

Meanwhile, his grandfather, Royal Navy veteran Antony Moth, will be a part of the local Remembrance parade in Wellington.

The pair recently enjoyed a touching reunion in London whilst Sam was in training for the national remembrance events. Mr Moth, along with other veterans, was invited to watch the preparations, giving them a chance to meet up and share that special moment.

The family connection underscores the importance of Remembrance, linking active service with those who have served in the past.
