1. Voyage of the Damned (2007)

  • Doctor: Tenth Doctor (David Tennant)
  • Titanic in space, tragedy meets spectacle, with Kylie Minogue shining as Astrid. Still one of the most emotional and iconic specials ever. Not to mention it’s one of the most viewd episodes of Doctor Who ever with 13.31 million views and was the second most watched TV Program at Christmas in 2007 only behind Eastenders

2. The Christmas Invasion (2005)

  • Doctor: Tenth Doctor
  • David Tennant’s first full episode as the Doctor. Action-packed, witty, and a perfect festive kickoff.

3. A Christmas Carol (2010)

  • Doctor: Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith)
  • Dickens meets Doctor Who. Magical, emotional, and visually stunning.

4. The Husbands of River Song (2015)

  • Doctor: Twelfth Doctor (Peter Capaldi)
  • River Song gets her epic reunion with the Doctor. Funny, romantic, and heartwarming.

5. The Return of Doctor Mysterio (2016)

  • Doctor: Twelfth Doctor
  • Doctor meets superhero adventures. Festive London, humor, and charm all rolled into one.

6. Last Christmas (2014)

  • Dream worlds, Santa-inspired action, and a clever twist make this a standout.

7. The Snowmen (2012)

  • Whimsical winter tale introducing Clara. Darkly magical and visually stunning.

  • A mysterious, suspenseful Christmas special with a touch of gothic horror. Unique, atmospheric, and very different from the usual festive fare. Not to mention Nchuti and Millie’s amazing banter, they felt like true friends

  • David Tennant’s farewell. Emotional, epic, and bittersweet., This was the most emotional moment for many people as the world was getting ready to bid fairwell to the one of the most iconic doctors

10. Twice Upon a Time (2017)

  • Doctor: Twelfth Doctor
  • Capaldi’s final bow. Reflective, emotional, and full of nostalgic timey-wimey goodness.
