Bingo hall brings Christmas cheer
Globe Bingo Hall in Donnington recently held a successful Christmas charity drive to help young patients. Customers at the venue kindly donated toys and games for children up to 17.
All the gifts were specifically for the Children’s Ward at Princess Royal Hospital. They will help to bring a smile to young patients who are spending Christmas in hospital.
The community’s response was described as “amazing”.
Alongside the generous toy donations, the bingo hall also raised over £300. This money is earmarked to go towards a new sensory unit. The unit will be part of the Children’s Ward when it relocates to Shrewsbury Hospital in the coming years.
Manager Aaron and team members Paula, Meg, and Abi delivered the huge amount of donated toys to the ward on Thursday, 11th December. The team expressed their gratitude to everyone who helped to make a difference this Christmas.
