Defaced bus stop cleaned up by Luke

A Telford man using specialist cleaning equipment has removed most of the oil from up a vandalised bus stop last night after taking matters into his own hands.

Luke, who owns Telford-based Cedars Exterior Cleaning, cleaned the defaced stop using water and an oil cleaner at around 9:30pm last night.

The clean-up operation lasted for around an hour and Luke reported that he received “positive beeps” from drivers and thanks from pedestrians passing by.

The job appears to have been a success, with one person commenting that Luke “made a great job of it.”

However, Luke noted that while the main graffiti had been removed, the local council still needs to attend to the floor and the sand that had been left there.
