Head on collision: two casualties

Emergency services responded to a serious road traffic collision this morning after a saloon car and an HGV were involved in a head-on collision on Parkway in Madeley, Telford.

The incident, which took place shortly after 7am, saw two casualties being treated at the scene by the Land Ambulance Service.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) received the call at 7.06am on Friday, 12 December.

Three fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central, Tweedale, and Wellington, including the Rescue Tender. An Operations officer was also in attendance.

Fire crews worked to make the vehicles safe at the scene of the crash.

The Police were also in attendance at the incident.
