Owners commit to AcoustaProducts future in Telford
The growth of engineering business AcoustaProducts is set to accelerate following its parent company’s long-term commitment to the firm’s manufacturing base on Stafford Park, Telford.
AcoustaProducts is now poised to prosper after its owners, Avon Group, announced it has acquired the freehold on the premises. The site will now be transformed into what is described as a “world-class” environment.
Further growth is predicted for the business, which is a widely recognised leader in the foam and rubber conversion industry. This news follows Avon Group’s purchase of AcoustaProducts in February 2022.
The successful completion of the second phase of Avon Group’s strategy not only signals long-term security but also heralds the next step in what they call the ‘Avon Way aesthetic transformation’.
Avon Group will invest more than £250,000 to upgrade the 25,000-square feet manufacturing premises. This investment will safeguard highly-skilled, precision engineering jobs in the Shropshire town.
AcoustaProducts General Manager, Robert Hamilton, said: “This is a ringing endorsement for Acousta Products and its highly dedicated and skilled people.”

Avon Group, headquartered in Bristol, is targeting the £100-million sales barrier as part of its wider continuing expansion and investment strategy. The group manufactures a range of sealing, insulation, acoustic, filtration and protection products.
