Police closed road after Castlefields Way car crash

Police closed the road for a short time yesterday evening after a Peugeot crashed into roadside barriers.

The incident happened before 10pm on Tuesday (30th December) evening, spotted by Andy Stone as he passed the scene. The recovery operator was attempting to get the car off the Armco barrier it had mounted after leaving the road.
