Rawzone Basketball Club celebrates player achievements

Four talented young basketball players from the Rawzone club have been selected for the 2025-2026 Aspire Basketball England programme.


The club, which is committed to nurturing local talent through its organisation and local schools, is celebrating the achievement of Arjun, Ethan, Jaja, and Evie.


Rawzone was founded by Lester and Michelle Palmer and play at Holy Trinity and Langley schools in Telford. The team secured an impressive win against Abingdon Eagles this past weekend.


Further strong results were seen in the schools programme, with two dominating wins against Shrewsbury and Twycross.


Four of the club’s players have already been identified by a major professional team. Evie, Arjun, Rohin, and Jaja are currently playing within the National League Development Programme for Leicester Riders.
