First day back to school, or is it?

After a couple of days where low temperatures and snow have made travelling a challenge in parts of Telford, the big return to school has been disrupted.

Gone are the days of huddling around the radio in the hope that your school is on the closed list.

Technology advances mean that schools and colleges are more likely to mass text or email parents and guardians with any changes to start times or closures.

Telford & Wrekin Council still curate a list online here https://schoolclosures.telford.gov.uk for your curiosity, and it does show one or two school closures.

Allow extra time if you are travelling today, but roads appear to be passable and there are no train cancellations at the time of writing.
