New care home prioritises green living in Redhill

A new care home focused on sustainable living is preparing to open its doors on Marsh Meadow Way in Redhill this April. Archbridge Manor, operated by Crystal Care Collection, has been built with several eco-friendly features designed to reduce its carbon footprint while providing residential, dementia, and respite care.

The facility will accommodate up to 66 residents, with every bedroom including an ensuite wet room. To manage energy use, the building features solar panels and battery storage systems, alongside ground source heat pumps to provide heating.

Other environmental measures at the Telford site include the use of sustainable building materials and LED lighting triggered by movement sensors. Water-saving technology has also been fitted throughout the home to improve efficiency.

Managing Director Liz Walker said, “We’re excited to bring Telford a care home that delivers exceptional care while embracing sustainable living.

“The home will also play an active role in the local area through Crystal Care Collection’s Community Tree initiative, creating opportunities for schools, businesses, and community groups to connect and collaborate.”

For those interested in living at the home, the team can be reached on 01952 913419 or via archbridgemanor@crystalcarecollection.co.uk.

Enquiries regarding employment at the site should be directed to 0330 401 0014 or recruitment@crystalcarecollection.co.uk.
