Car ends up in woodland after Horsehay crash
Emergency services were called to Horsehay this afternoon following a road traffic collision. Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received the call at 2:58 pm on Thursday, 12 February.
Three fire appliances were mobilised to the scene, including the Rescue Tender from Telford and Wellington. An Operations officer also attended alongside West Mercia Police and the Land Ambulance Service.
One vehicle had left the road and come to a rest in roadside woodland. Fire crews worked to make the vehicle electrically safe while a woman was treated at the scene.
The woman, who was suffering from a medical episode, was left in the care of the ambulance service. The fire service issued a stop message at 3:16 pm.
